The Rust Pilotto

Patrick from Creative Recreation wrote and informed me that the boots Hayden is sporting in the newest candids are The Rust Pilotto by Creative Recreation. It’s described as a light and comfortable desert boot that is the perfect blend of fashion and function. It retails for $225 and is available in selected retail stores.

Glamour’s 50 Sexiest Men poll

Remember this post? Well it looks like Hayden came in at #9 on Glamour’s 50 Sexiest Men poll. The winner was Robert Pattinson followed by his co star Taylor Lautner. You can read the entire list by clicking this link. At least he was in the top 10 and we all know who’s #1 in our book! ;)

Will Packer presents ‘Takers’

From s2smagazine.com: Will Packer can breath a sigh of relief now that his long-awaited action flick Takers has had its Hollywood premiere.

“I thought that if we put together a really, really good looking group of guys—sexy bad boys—that women would respond and want to see it. Typically action is a male domain, but I knew that if we casted it and marketed it the right way, we would be able to broaden [our audience] and bring in women as well.”

Paul Walker, Hayden Christensen and Matt Dillion also star in Takers, which reminds us a bit of the Ocean’s series. However Will assures us that Takers is distinctly different, even with its smart-alecky comedy. 

“Overall, I think it’s a satisfying movie. I think people will be pleased with it,” Will told S2S, pointing out that the film will be far from predictable. “There’s gonna be some surprises in there. It doesn’t all wrap up the way you might expect it to.”

To see what surprises Will has in store for viewers, check out Takers when it hits theaters on August 27.

K-os One Step Closer to Knowing Natalie Portman; Watch New Video for ‘Zambony’

If K-os plays his cards right, he’s one step closer to knowing Natalie Portman. The Toronto/Vancouver hip-hop star has recruited Portman’s Star Wars co-star Hayden Christensen for new video “Zambony,” and you can watch it right here.

In the clip, Christensen’s more to K-os than a potential Hollywood “in.” The Vancouver-born actor plays the rapper’s too-cool security detail, though why K-os needs to hire some muscle isn’t entirely apparent, at least until the very end — and even then, we’re skeptical. Maybe, like all of us, he just likes the idea of being chaufferred by a Jedi. Read All ?

Brand new video from k-os for the tune “Zambony” off his Yes! album. The video is a Two Three Five Films production and directed by X. Thrilled that k-os decided to make a video for this one.

The visuals for “Zambomy” feature Mississauga natvie Tassja Dawn aka Tassja Kemp Jackson (model/actress/singer) and the young Darth Vader, Hayden Christensen. Truly a song and video that would be appreciated by Canadian fans the most as the song lyrics make it quite clear where the artist is coming from and the video itself is largely centred around Canada’s favourite pasttime, hockey. The documentary, exec produced by Spike Jonze and produced by Anonymous Content and (Red) — the organization that touts using commerce to help fight AIDS via co-branded products — debuts May 24 on HBO, YouTube and Britain’s Channel 4.

As they arrived, celebs such as Gabourey Sidibe, Hayden Christensen, and supermodels Iman and Christy Turlington made their way down the red carpet and answered questions from the media, including a Facebook-facilitated live Q&A from those following the action online. Read All ?

Youthful good looks. Money. Fame. Talent. A major role in the greatest movie series of all time: “Star Wars.” No wonder women love him and men want to be him. Hayden is a young Hollywood Adonis, with a baby face that will age well over the next few decades. He has a nice head of hair, piercing eyes, full lips and just a little roundness at the tip of his nose, causing him to look like the boy next door that all the girls want to date. Guys like him make normal guys like me look bad.

50th Anniversary of the Laser Celebrated

With May 16 being the 50th anniversary of the invention of the laser, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution on May 4 recognizing the day and “the need for continued support of scientific research to maintain America’s future competitiveness.”

Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) from ‘Star Wars’ is holding a fictional laser sword called a ‘Light-saber.’ The Laser is celebrating 50 years since its’ invention.

Rio de Janeiro Update

Actor Hayden Christensen will not escape the basic package in its passage through Rio de Janeiro. Scaled for the parade of Lacoste, which happens on Wednesday (12) in the Hotel Copacabana Palace, the star has already booked all the tours are typical of a foreigner in the Marvelous City.

The invitation of Crown brand, Michel Lacoste, Hayden arrives in Brazil to 14h this Tuesday (11). With the day off, will visit Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf, and attend a dinner specially prepared in a traditional restaurant in Rio de Janeiro.

On his first visit to the country, it will be presented by a Brazilian national team. This time, it will not bring his girlfriend, actress Rachel Bilson. Hayden will be staying in a hotel in the south of Rio and back to Los Angeles on Thursday (13).

They’ve confirmed they are having a girl.

(RED) Launches The Lazarus Effect Campaign

Hayden is apart of the The Lazarus Effect Campaign by RED and took part in the PSA (see video below).

(RED) today announced the launch of The Lazarus Effect Campaign, a multi-platform campaign across TV, online and print, including an HBO documentary airing on May 24, that will help raise awareness of the transformative effect of antiretroviral medicine for those living with HIV in Africa. Launching April 29 on HBO, the awareness campaign will roll out across various TV and online networks in the coming weeks. The campaign equates the relative value of 40 cents by comparing trivial items worth 40 cents e.g. a stick of gum, a smear of lipstick — to the value of one day’s worth of life transforming antiretroviral medication.

John Krasinski To Be Named Captain America? Maybe………
Here’s one for all you Marvel nerds…errr, enthusiasts. The First Avenger: Captain America, due to be released the summer of 2011, is now casting for it’s main hero, Steve Rogers… aka: the Cap!

Finally, there’s Hayden Christensen. Star War’s little sweetheart… He’s definitely my frontrunner for the role of Captain America. If we had to look to one person to save us from evil, I would definitely feel more confident in Christensen than in Krasinski. I want to be saved, not pranked! Plus, look at him! He’s got a much more chiseled jawline…. it practically screams Captain America! Can you hear it?

Celebrity spectators soak up USA-Canada excitement

While both Phelps and Blair were all smiles during a game that broke the Americans’ way early and late, Canadian actor Hayden Christensen (the “Star Wars” prequels) was nervous due to the USA 3-2 lead going into the third period.

“Beyond nervous,” said Christensen, dressed in a Canada home-white jersey and sporting a black-and-red-trim Team Canada while sitting in Section 117, Row 23. “It’s been an amazing game but I don’t like the score right now.”

Christensen lives in Vancouver and said “it’s incredible, such a treat for all of us to have the Olympics in our city.” He is a Canucks fan, but also roots for NHLers Raffi Torres (Columbus) and the well-traveled Mike Zigomanis (right now playing for Toronto’s top minor-league team).

“I played hockey with both of them growing up,” said Christensen. “I dreamed about becoming a pro hockey player, just like most kids [in Canada]. I love the game.”

I play Gordon, the leader of a motley pack, a hardened criminal who does high-end bank jobs. He’s suave but ferocious—and ruthless when he needs to be.

The cast seems like a fun boys club, with costars Matt Dillon, Paul Walker, and Michael Ealy.
Good fellas, man. Everyone was just snapping on one another. If you weren’t sharp with your wit you might get laughed at for 20 minutes. Of course you have Hayden Christensen, he’s a little less slick with his…he’s more of a farm boy. But he’d give it back whenever he wanted to.
