Guys and gals - the author of the Brookhaven Vampire Series would like to see HAYDEN as the main male character if they were made into movies! ME TOO, I think HAYDEN would have made the Twilight servies more interesting and much more “machizmo” than Pattenson did!!!
LOVE the picture of him you gave us - he is such a HUNK! Ha ha! Can’t you just see the beautiful children he and Rachel will have…whew!

I hope Hayden doesn’t take a vampire role. He’s too good for that. I would like to see him do more though guy roles. I think Robert Pattinson is perfect for the role in Twilight. Hayden is close to 30 years old, and I can’t picture him playing a vampire in teen movies.

I heard that he will not be reprising his role in Jumper 2. I thought he was good in Jumper. I feel bad for him, because it seems like he was looking forward to being in the sequel.

I meant to say “tough” guy roles.

I’d be very surprised if he did a Vampire role unless it’s one of Ann Rice’s vampires. All the others are too juvenile and unrealistic to be taken seriously.

Hi, Yah, there’s nothing too serious about being who you are and defending it, protecting those you love, waiting for the best to come along, putting value on family and love etc. Real juvenile. Some people can live their entire lives and not learn those things. Twilight’s the Best.

Mmm, I guess it kinda depends what “kind” of vampire role, but the genre is pretty played out because of Twilight and everything that came after it, like Vampire Dairies, True Blood, etc. I think it would come off as “jumping on the bandwagon,” you know? THAT, he is too good for. But, again, it depends on what kind of role/story it is. The Twilight stuff… is okay. I wasn’t into Meyer’s writing style. The morals/values didn’t translate too well into movies, to me, because of all the teen hooplah associated with it – but that was the target audience because it was in a high school setting. I agree that effects of Twilight are juvenile, not necessarily the story.

I respect your views, but still hold to mine. :) Now, back to the The Man.

Beauty is in the I of the beholder. Besides, who died and made you king of anything?

The different views here are being presented respectfully. We don’t all agree, nor do we have to, so insulting someone who has a different opinion than you only perpetuates the “defensive cyberbully” image a lot of Twilight fans have created for themselves, and that’s a shame.

    Awesome! ILY Hayden ^^

    lmao, juvenile indeed.

Geez guys I’m sorry for bringing up what the author said that she really liked HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN was really the POINT of the article. Didn’t mean to get the “vampire thing” going…soryy!

Naturally, I’m not surprised that the author appreciates Hayden’s abilities, and his looks. :p I’m also a little skeptical over Hayden deciding to accept the role if it should be offered to him. Not that I don’t think he’d be interested in it, and not that I don’t think he’d be great for the part, but the fact that he might be put in the position of committing to (possibly?) 3 or 4 installments. Would he be interested in such a commitment? I really can’t say, but he might surprise us all and grab it! Guess we’ll have to wait and see, which is something we’re very use to doing when it comes to Hayden. If it doesn’t happen, maybe one day, in a perfect world, he’ll team up with the Queen of vampire storytellers, Ann Rice. The perfect combination, along the same level as Cruise, Pitt, and Rice for Interview With a Vampire.

Like I said, Hayden is too good to be in a teen vampire movie. No offense to Twilight and Brookhaven Vampire fans. I would like to see him do more tough guy roles like A.J. in Takers. I agree with Tav. Ann Rice’s vampires are sophisticated and down to earth. If there is another sequel for Interview with the Vampire, I can picture Hayden in a role.

Sam Worthington is getting good kick- ass, action roles, and I don’t see why Hayden shouldn’t get some good roles.

Oh God, not ANOTHER vampire anything. I hope he isn’t anything of the sort. He’s too good to sell out like that.

  18. Comment by ATLqueen in November 20, 2021 @ 12:49 am

left a word out ‘in anything’ of the sort.

  19. Comment by diamondeyed in November 20, 2021 @ 2:36 am

He’d make a sexy vampire. But he would be a sell-out jumping on the vampire bandwagon just to gain popularity. If it had been three years ago before Twilight and all those vampire shows on tv it would’ve been cool. But now…not so much.
