Magnet makes ‘Vanishing’ appear in theaters

Vanishing on 7th Street will be in theaters February 2011, thanks to Magnet Releasing!

From Variety- Magnet Releasing has picked up U.S. rights to “Vanishing on 7th Street,” helmer Brad Anderson’s horror pic that bowed at the Toronto Film Festival.

Hayden Christensen, John Leguizamo, Thandie Newton and Jacob Latimore star in the film, about a power outage in Detroit during which most of the city’s population disappears mysteriously.

Norton Herrick, Tove Christensen and Mandalay Vision’s Celine Rattray produce the pic, which is penned by Anthony Jaswinski.

Distribution deal was negotiated by Tom Quinn of Magnet, the genre-centric arm of Magnolia Pictures, and Cinetic. Pic will hit U.S. screens in February 2011.

    Hi, fyi. There is a Darth Vader costume from Star Wars on sale at Christie’s auction house! Guess someone will really be Vader for Halloween:)
