Release Update: Medieval Pie : Territoires Vierges- Aka Virgin Territory will be released next Wednesday, July 23rd in France. It's actually going to be released in the theaters. "Outlander," a $30 million sci-fi fantasy starring Jim Caviezel that has spent more than a year in post-production, is quietly being shopped to other distributors; "Virgin Territory," a period comedy starring Hayden Christensen and Mischa Barton, is going straight to video. More ?

The Clone Wars Soundtrack: Coming in time for the August 15 theatrical release of The Clone Wars feature is a soundtrack CD featuring the movie's dynamic score. Composer Kevin Kiner has created a unique musical experience for Clone Wars which builds upon the classic themes created by John Williams. The CD will include 32 tracks for a run-time of 67 minutes, 39 seconds. The soundtrack insert folds out into a Clone Wars poster. The CD is scheduled for release on August 12 from Sony Classical. Awake Review: It's difficult to review Awake without giving away a twist. Suffice to say the ending is quite unexpected.

In many ways Awake is pure fantasy. I's not plausible, but it's also fun.

It is fast-paced, dramatic and thrilling. Alba plays a fairly mundane role, but it is better than the pretty-girl parts she is normally given.

Nevertheless, it is good fun. Watching Awake you certainly won't fall asleep. Read All ?

`Clone Wars' revives old-style `Star Wars' fun: A tinge of Anakin Skywalker's coming dark side clearly is visible in "Star Wars: The Clone Wars." Yet the animated adventure mostly harks back to the fun, swashbuckling times of the original "Star Wars" trilogy.

Opening with a variation on John Williams' familiar "Star Wars" theme, the movie is heavy on humor. Anakin devises an amusing low-tech way for him and Ahsoka to sneak inside a droid energy shield. Obi-Wan engages in a witty surrender negotiation with a general who speaks in a Sean Connery brogue. When a droid falls off a cliff and smashes on the ground, his superior leans over and barks, "Get back here, sergeant."

A few veteran "Star Wars" performers provide voices for the movie, including Samuel L. Jackson as Mace, Christopher Lee as Dooku and Anthony Daniels as C-3PO. Taking over from Hayden Christensen as the voice of Anakin is Matt Lanter, while James Arnold Taylor does Obi-Wan, who was played by Ewan McGregor in the prequel trilogy.

Anakin remains a bit rash, but he has graduated from apprenticeship to Obi-Wan to take the lead on his own missions as an equal to his former master. More ?

Jumper (Cert 12A) DVD Review: EVER been stuck in a situation where you wish you could shut your eyes and escape from it all?

And in escaping, what if a genetic anomally allows you to teleport to anywhere in the world and do, say or take whatever you fancy without any consequences?

That's pretty much the premise for Doug Liman's film Jumper, starring Hayden Christensen, last seen sporting a big black helmet and cloak as Darth 'noooooo' Vader and Jamie 'he loves to boogie' Bell.

Christensen is David Rice, deserted by his mother at five, raised by his abusive father and somewhat of a misfit at school � until he takes his first leap of faith that is.

It's excellent action fare and a wonderful idea... wouldn't it be a great super power to have up your sleeve when the going gets tough?

Top Movie Villains: RALPH FIENNES' LORD VOLDEMORT character in the HARRY POTTER films has been named the best movie villain of all time - beating HEATH LEDGER's THE JOKER into fifth place.

Ledger's performance in new Batman sequel The Dark Knight, the last movie he completed before his death in January (08), has been lauded by critics and tipped for an Oscar nomination.

But editors of Moviefone rank him behind Fiennes; James Earl Jones and Hayden Christensen's Darth Vader; Margaret Hamilton's Wicked Witch of the West and Sir Anthony Hopkins' Hannibal Lector in the onscreen evil stakes.

A Moviefone editor explains the decision to crown Voldemort the most dastardly, "He is the most powerful dark wizard to ever wave a wand. What's more, he schemes to dominate the whole world. Without his slithering presence, would J.K. Rowling be the best-selling author of all time? The answer, a resounding "No."

Vader succumbed to the allure of the Dark Side and became the face of evil in a galaxy far, far away. Jones' stentorian baritone adds gravitas to Vader's prodigious lightsaber skills, which he used to lop off his son's hand. Christensen's younger version isn't as iconic, but he did slaughter a houseful of future Jedis.

NYILY: According to IMDB and several other movie websites, New York I Love You will be released on February 13th, 2009. As you may remember, Jumper was also released around February 14 of this year. Thanks to Melissa, Ericka, D Rice Fan and others for the info!
