A ‘Jumper’ Sequel? Hayden Christensen Says Talks Are Happening, ‘Darker’ Story Considered
From MTV News- It’s something that’s being actively discussed, as Christensen told MTV on the red carpet for “Takers” last week.
“We’re talking about it right now actually,” he said. Where could the story go? “Hopefully somewhere a little darker. I think there’s a lot you can do with it. It was sort of set up in a way it’s gonna be mother hunting son and possibly even maybe sister hunting brother. We’re talking about it, trying to figure it out.”

I knew it was inevitable! Knowing how the movie ended..and so random Kristen Stewart was there! gonna be exciting! =)
To be honest, I hope this doesn’t happen. As much as I want Hayden to be working, I don’t think the first Jumper did anything for him. It was mediocre at best. I’m hoping he’ll get to take on more challenging projects and leave the world of franchises far behind.
I’m starting to believe in the Jumper sequel. I don’t care how long it takes. It took Takers 11 years to get to where it’s at. They could do a lot with the way it ended too. We just gotta have faith guys! lol
Look gang, Jumper was an EXCELLENT movie, so new in it’s concept, so different in it’s “revelations” and HAYDEN was super in it! By the time they make this movie HAYDEN will be in his prime…maybe 31-32 and I love the fact that this story line can go just about anywhere. They left MANY clues in the first one and I for one, can not wait to see where they take it this time! Besides, HAYDEN deserves another movie of this stature…he has worked tirelessly and continually. I applaud him, he IS a major actor! You go HAYDEN!

Jumper was my favorite movie by him!
So far mine is Awake, but I love them all.
Jumper wasn’t awful to me. It was okay but I was just left in the dark and I didn’t care for the plot much. I know what was going on with the writers strike and all so I’ll excuse it. This next one has to do better though. I’m with you Jen, Awake was my favorite hands down.
the only movie i didnt really care for from him was New York, I Love You. mainly because i was disapointed that him and Rachel only had like a 3 minute part!!

Awww shucks guys, HAYDEN’S good in anything! I’ve seen them ALL and like him in everyone. I agree with Jenna that NY I love you was my least favorite because I want to see HAYDEN all the way through a movie but I’ll take even that! Ha ha! Just to see his smile is enough for me! NOW, I’m actually looking forward to VANISHING, and I am NOT a fan of scary movies…but HAYDEN’S the star and I WILL see it regardless! Ha ha!
I highly doubt Kristen Stewart will be in any sequel, I think she might be a little more expensive now, and I don’t see Hayden and Rachel doing a movie together anytime soon
I agree with stacy. Jumper is not my favorite Hayden movie. I honestly think that if they want to do a sequel for Jumper, they need a better script and director. Also, we can’t tell that how many people from the original cast will return…

Sorry but to be honest, even if Jumper 2 is going to be made, Rachel is very unlikely to return if you ask me, considering what has happened between her and Hayden.
