The lightsabers used by Obi-Wan and Anakin are ones we have seen
before. Regarding Ian's intensity in playing Palpatine in Ep3,
"Ian doesn't hold anything back." Anakin will be seen using a blue
lightsaber (seen in Ep4) and a red lightsaber.
His leg is gone from about the knee down or so, not at the thigh
like some have speculated and he loses something else as well.
All of his hair is gone - singed in the fire. And he gets
that massive head wound in Episode III - the one you see briefly on
Vader unmasked in Return of the Jedi. Also, the duel between him
and Obi-Wan was filmed last week, they both did all of their own
stunts. No confirmation of a lava duel, but they were around red
lighting.
The duel between Anakin and Obi-Wan is not a gentleman's duel.
It will get nasty (when asked about kicks and moves similar to
Darth Maul). The character who speaks the classic line, "I have a
bad feeling about this" is one that has not spoken the line before.
We will see at least two sunsets in the film.
The set diaries keep mentioning things around Anakin and Obi-Wan's
clothes getting burned, etc. For one part of the scene there is an orange
light. They seem to be battling on a narrow walk way and keep looking
down for caution.
Help visualize Anakin progressing to how we know him from the Classic
Trilogy.By that I understood he would be closely resemble the mechanical
Darth Vader we all know and love. He'll lose more of himself and become
more and more machine. It is true - I'll tell you how he does that in one
way tonight. Here is what they had planned at the stage of involvement
where I was at. Anakin loses his right leg after the fight - and yes,
Anakin and Obi-Wan do battle it out in the lava environment we've dreamed
about since the early days.
