During the childbirth, the lower half of Padme's body is now covered by some device (added digitally). Thus the scene is now inconsistent with what you see in the books, older stills etc..Padme's last words are changed and her funeral is now even longer. There are more mourners (mostly human) and we see that she holds in her hand that wooden thing Anakin gave her in Episode 1.

Scene from ROTS-From AAHA
Intercut with the proclamation of The Empire, Obi-Wan and Yoda's arrival at The Jedi Temple, is the death of the separatist leaders. The last one to be killed is the greedy Viceroy of the Trade Federation, Nute Gunray. Standing in an alcove with tears running down his face, he whimpers:

NUTE GUNRAY:
The war... The war is over... Lord Sidious promised... He promised we would be left in peace.

VADER lifts his blade.

VADER:
He promised you would be left in pieces.

The Final Duel-From AAHA
Obi-Wan dives into a forward roll that ends up with him on the rim of a low cliff, just above the soft black sand of a lava riverbank. Anakin snarls at Obi-Wan, realising he has been tricked. He leaps off his droid at Obi-Wan's back but is half a second too slow. Obi-Wan whirls to parry Anakin, but his saber doesn't meet Anakin's blade. Instead, he slices off Anakin's leg at the knee. Then he slices of the other leg at the knee. And while Anakin is still in the air, Obi-Wan uses his blade to slice off Anakin's left arm above the elbow. He steps back as Anakin falls. Anakin drops his lightsaber, clawing at the edge of the cliff with his mechanical hand, but his grip becomes too powerful for the lava bank and the edge crumbles, and he slides down onto the black sand. His severed legs and his severed arm rolls into the lava below him and immediately burns. Anakin claws at the soft black sand, but his struggling only makes him slip farther. The sand itself is hot; digging his mechanical arm into it burns off his glove, and his robes begin to smolder. Obi-Wan picks up Anakin's lightsaber. He lifts his own as well and weighs them in his hands. Anakin had based his design upon Obi-Wan's and thus they appear very similar. "Obi-Wan..." pleads Vader from the riverbank. Kenobi looks down. Vader's jedi robes burn while his hair is blackened. "You were the chosen one! It was said you would destroy The Sith, not join them. It was you who would bring balance to The Force, not leave it in darkness. You were my brother, Anakin," says Obi-Wan. "I loved you, but I could not save you." Above in the sky, Obi-Wan sees a Theta-Class shuttle entering the atmosphere. Suddenly, Darth Vader bursts into flame. "I hate you" screams Vader. Obi-Wan Kenobi turns, not wanting to go against the Jedi Code and murder, walks away.

"Oh, I didn't get this from Emdee. It's my..." Padme smiles, "...motherly intuition."

Anakin feels another kick and laughs.

"Motherly intuition, huh?" he questions. "With a kick that hard? Definitely a girl.

ANAKIN
Wait!

ANAKIN grabs MACE's arm.

ANAKIN (cont)
Don't kill him...you just can't kill him Master.

MACE
Yes I can, I have to.

ANAKIN You came to arrest him. He has to stand trial.

MACE
A trial would be a joke. He controls the courts. He controls the Senate.

ANAKIN
So are you going to kill all of them too? Like he said you would?

MACE yanks his arm free.

MACE
He's too dangerous to be left alive. If you could have taken Dooku alive, would you have?

ANAKIN shows no emotion.

ANAKIN
That was different.

MACE
You can explain the difference after he's dead.

After Padme arrives on Mustafar in her sleek, silver Naboo skiff, she quickly exits the ramp and runs to Anakin. She begins to relay to Anakin Obi-Wan?s accusations about the massacre in the Jedi Temple. However, instead of refuting the accusations, Anakin replies, "Obi-Wan's alive?" Padme starts to worry that Obi-Wan will track Anakin down and kill him. Anakin questions Padme to find out if she told Obi-Wan where he was. She replies that she didn't tell him. Satisfied with her response, Anakin begins to lure Padme into a more deadly plan, his plan,to rid the galaxy of Palpatine. He tries to convince Padme to let Palpatine declare himself Emperor. He states that the Republic needed to be destroyed; the Jedi, the Separatists... Once Palpatine unites everyone under his Empire, he will kill him, then Anakin and Padme can rule the galaxy together.Padme is not happy with this, and just as she begins to tell him to stop, Anakin spots Obi-Wan exiting the ship. "You?" growls Anakin, in a dark voice, his eyes turning non-human.Padme turns around to see Obi-Wan walking towards them. Padme, move away from him, says Obi-Wan calmly. "Obi-Wan? No!,exclaims Padme. She turns back to her husband only to find him looking at her with intense anger. You...you brought him here?!? says Anakin dumbfounded. Suddenly, Padme begins to gasp...Anakin uses the Force to choke her. Anakin tells her how much he loved her as Padme desperately tries to breathe.Let her go,? pleads Obi-Wan. You're not going to take her away from me,adds Anakin. Anakin, in turn, blames Obi-Wan for turning her against him. Anakin looks at Obi-Wan and replies,Never! And with that, Padme faints.Obi-Wan races over and checks Padme's pulse. Anakin offers Obi-Wan a chance to leave, for old time's sake.? But Obi-Wan is on a mission to destroy the Sith. As Threepio and Artoo drag Padme's body up to the ship, The Duel to destory Vader begins.

From Anakin and his Angel
Anakin runs down the hall of the Republic Executive Building and enters the office of the Supreme Chancellor. Inside, Palpatine is begging for his life as Mace Windu stands over him with his lightsaber. Anakin looks at the two. Mace warns Anakin to return to the Jedi Temple as instructed, but Palpatine begs for Anakin to protect him against the undemocratic Jedi. Again, Mace tries to convince Anakin otherwise, but then Palpatine pleads, 'You remember the story of Darth Plagueis the Wise?' Anakin looks at Palpatine, ignoring Mace. "Darth Plagueis was real," says Palpatine. Anakin looks at him shocked. "Real?..." "Darth Plagueis was my master. He taught me the key to his power," he said. Suddenly, Palpatine's voice turned cold, and old, "...before I killed him." Mace tries to tell Anakin not to believe him.Palpatine raises his head, an old, withered man appears from beneath the shadows of the cowering Chancellor. "I cannot, I turn myself over to you. I am too weak in the end. Too old, weak ... I give up. Don't kill me, Master Windu. I surrender..." Anakin's internal conflict grows. Anakin weighs up the role of the undemocratic Jedi, the omission from the Jedi Council, the ideals and concepts of Palpatine, the loyalty of Palpatine, Palpatine willing to share the way to control midichlorians to create life... to save Padme - his loved one. Anakin lunges towards Mace as the Jedi goes to strike against Palpatine. A lightsaber battle begins; fast and furious until Mace's hand is cut off. Sidious raises his hands and lightning strikes from them, zapping Mace in revenge with full veracity - and with his lightning he lifts up the disabled Jedi and throws him through the window, out into the Coruscant traffic below.

What is a democracy if it doesn't serve all our lives? - Senator Amidala, RotS.After his dream about Padme, Anakin goes to Palpatine for counsel. In a brief scene in the Chancellor's Office, the pair discusses Anakin's new assignment and the dream that haunts Anakin.Palpatine warns Anakin about the true goals of the Jedi Council. He claims that the Jedi are not only against himself, but also against the Senate and the whole democratic system. Is the Jedi Council a democratic body itself? After all, isn't Anakin being told what to do? Haven't they tried to convince you to act against me? - Palpatine questions earnestly. Anakin realises that Palpatine is right. The Jedi Council believe that Palpatine is under the influence of the Sith. Little do they know that he is the Sith Master. In an effort to learn more about the Chancellor, the Jedi Council instruct Anakin to stay on Coruscant to watch him, spy on him, while Obi-Wan leads his mission to Utapau. They know Anakin has a close relationship with the Chancellor. Anakin is assigned as Palpatine's personal bodyguard. Palpatine begins to tell Anakin about the Sith, the Jedi's lack of vision; and so begins the seduction of Anakin Skywalker to the Dark Side of the Force.

A Jedi gains power through understanding; a Sith gains understanding through power.-Darth Sidious, RotS. In the Galaxies Theatre, Anakin Skywalker is the guest of the Chancellor Palpatine. The elite of Coruscant have gathered to watch the graceful movements of a female Mon Calamari soloist. As the graceful dancer moves about stage, Chancellor Palpatine recounts an old story; the Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise. This infamous Dark Lord of the Sith supposedly gained such an insight into the Force that he was actually able to influence the midichlorians to create life. Anakin becomes interested in this story after his haunting dreams of Padme's death ? perhaps this time he could prevent her death, unlike his mother's.Anakin asks what happened to Plagueis in the story. Palpatine says that he was murdered by his apprentice as soon as he discovered the same power. Still thinking about Padme, Anakin asks - Would it be possible to learn this secret in some way? "Clearly, not from the Jedi," replies Palpatine with a gentle smile.

Nick Gillard Chat highlights-AAHA
- His cameo will be in hologram form. Very brief. There will be more of him in the game.
- He owns the only yellow lightsaber (prop) in existance.
- He worked on a small sequence with Natalie in ROTS. So she has some sort of action sequence.
- Palpatine is ambidextrous with his saber. He's THAT good.
- There will be some truly shocking saber moves. (But those were not his words. He just answered yes to that.)
- He helped Rob Coleman out with some of the Yoda fight moves.
- The Obi-Wan/Anakin duel is rarely on flat ground.
- Sidious' abilities are beyond anything we've experienced.
- Sidious has a style that's constantly changing, but he did it in a way that you'll never get the better of him.
-The style is ambigious - he'll fight less than you and draw you in. You're a sucker if you think you're going to better him.
- He was asked if Sidious a Master of the Lightsaber? Or is he more of a "Force Lightning" guy? He said Sidious is a master of every weapon and every style.
- Grievous and his bodyguards were all played by my guys and then painted over by ILM.
- No Gungan Jedi. (whew!)
- The Anakin/Dooku duel is much longer than their duel in AOTC. And it's much more intense. And Christopher did as much as he could.
- Anakin does NOT use force lightning in the film. He's all sword. That is only for the game.
- In Episode III Mace has to use every ounce of his ability, which he really didn't have to do in Episode II. He has to fight for his life this time.
- The Jedi Youglings DO have a fight sequence in ROTS. He did some training with them.
- OB1 will briefly use 2 sabers in ROTS.
- We will see Ewan's patented Obi-Wan lightsaber twirl in ROTS, and we might see some new ones too.
- When asked if Anakin will throw Padmé on a wall before he turns to evil, he said no, but he may drive her up the wall.
- He did NOT work with Aayla Secura on any saber moves.
- Mousy's character "Bene" is young but remarkably skilled with a lightsaber.
- Besides heads and arms, legs will get lopped off too.
- He worked intensively with young Jett (Lucas' son) for a few weeks.
- No SW Kid in ROTS.
- And finally, when asked if Anakin will go down swinging, or does he resign himself to defeat? He said he goes down like the biggest swinger in town.

Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader really isn't in the film for all that long of a time. In fact, he gets maybe five minutes at the maximum. Here's some details on what scenes you can expect him in:

1.He will be seen just for a couple minutes in the much talked about "waking-up" scene. This is after his recovery from the duel and he realizes what he has done and what has happened to him. He is shown here without the cape and upper helmet.

2.There's the "Sith christening" scene also known as the knighting as a Sith Lord. Another couple of minutes when he'll be seen during the film. He is also named here.

3.And finally, there's the "superstructure being built" minute where you can see the Death Star being constructed from his viewpoint with a few other notable Empire characters.

So far about three minutes of fast moving Episode 3 footage has been shown in two segments to people loosely involved in projects related to Episode III. Mostly it is of Obi Wan and Anakin in a fierce saber fight-- in one particular section Hayden pulls off a very angry face everyone will love.

George was also speaking on how one loses their humanity with gaining power, and that elements of Episode 3 are about this struggle within Anakin's world.

For the scenes of Anakin and Palpatine in the Chancellor's office, George brought down the warmer values that were on stage, making everything a bit cooler, a bit more blue. It occurs during midday and he wants to provide a greater contrast to the warmer scenes that occur when Padmé and a group of concerned Senators meet with the Chancellor at dusk.

Anakin will not meet or interact with the Naberrie family.

Anakin has only three real costume changes, not counting weathering or damage to his 'standard' outfit.

In a way similar to him being a Padawan and not understanding why he isn't a Knight yet, the Episode III Anakin is a Jedi Knight who doesn't get why the Council hasn't granted him the status of Master yet.

6-24-04
-The General Grevious report is completely true. As of recently, his name was still General Grevious. Could it change? Could George re-spell it "Greevus?" Was a Saber-Dart once called a Kyber-Dart? Was Sifo-Dyas once called Sido-Dyas? Sure, but for now, that is the reality. All that is missing from that original report is the fight between Anakin and Dooku (definitely expect limbs to be lost). Palpatine is shackled to his chair (you saw it on hyperspace already) with a huge panoramic window behind him. The room is extremely evocative of the Emperor's throne room in ROTJ. The Seperatist ship that they are aboard is a long, slender, sleek vessel. The hanger bay is towards the back of the ship with giant doors that are open on both sides (so you could fly straight through the hole if you wanted.) Do not picture a TF Droid Control ship. They look nothing alike.

Obi-Wan and his troops (following orders from the council), track Grevious down. Obi-Wan gives chase of Grevious aboard an animal that would best be described as a large and fast lizard. Grevious rides in a vehicle that resembles a one-wheeled version of a Hailfire droid. During their saber duel, Grevious' forearms each split in two and he wields a total of 4 lightsabers in combat.

Palpatine had the clone troopers made with genetic data that allows him to take complete control of them when he needs to.

After Obi-Wan eliminates Grevious (confirmed, its a blaster up the guts. A real juicy death for Grevious. Expect his head to leak fluids too), he returns to his troops. Palpatine gives the order for all the clone troopers to kill their jedi masters. Obi-Wan narrowly escapes and all the jedi in the film from this point forward would be considered enemies of the Republic and fugitives. This scene is a bit tragic for Obi-Wan as he is forced to kill a clone trooper he had befriended fighting together in the clone wars.

Quick shots are shown on multiple worlds of clone troopers turning on their Jedi generals and eliminating them in several creative ways. (for example, you'll see a new world, followed by Republic tanks with a jedi commander on board. The order is given and the tank next to it turns it's turret and opens fire on the jedi tank at point blank range.) Watch for prominent jedi council members to go out this way.

Yoda has little difficulty dealing with the clone troopers that turn on him on Kashyyyk, especially with the help of the wookiees. You will see why Han warns about wookiees being known to rip people's arms out of their sockets. And don't expect wookiees to be portrayed as simply "tall ewoks." Their technology is very advanced as is their vehicles, and they make good use of the lagoons on their world during combat. Watch for Yoda to do his whole "Away with your weapons I mean you no harm!" bit to fool the clone troopers as Chewie comes up behind them and knocks them unconscious. Wookiee vehicles definitely have a propeller theme. They have a boat with 2 pontoons (it looks like a catamaran). And they have one-man helicopter vehicles they fly around in.

The last mission that Palpatine sends Anakin Skywalker on is a mission to the planet Mustafar. He is to terminate the remaining leaders of the Seperatists who have gathered there for a meeting.

Anakin's slave transmitter was removed when he was freed as a little boy. It is not in Ep3.

Anakin has become a rockstar poster boy hero in the Clone Wars. His actions are meant to be of legend.

None of Anakin's injuries that require him to wear the Vader suit are from the result of Power Couplings.

There's no explicitly designated military council directing the progress of the war, but it is understood that in Episode III, the Senate has been trying to direct the war -- rather ineffectively. Guess who steps in to run the show?

Palpatine will not know about Luke and Leia.

Shmi Skywalker is mentioned in Ep3.

In a Jedi Council scene, we will see Mace Windu discussing new assignments with Hayden and Ewan. Yoda, Agen Kolar, Stass Allie, and Saesee Tiin are among those present.

There are no Tusken Raiders in Ep3.

If the Raider slaughter bothered you, then prepare for worse.

There will be a few tender moments of romance in the film.

"Ep III definitively has the most lightsaber action of any Star Wars film."

Anakin will cover just about every fighting style in Episode III."

Anakin and Obi-Wan's fighters are distinguished by their hue. Obi-Wan has green coloring, while Anakin's has red. The cockpit and the undercarriage are flat gray and gray-white.

The third film is very, very, very dark. It's not a happy movie by any stretch of the imagination. It's a tragedy. Ultimately the final story is between Yoda, Obi-Wan, Anakin and the Padmé. It's really their story. Those four characters."

Padmé's back to wearing disguises. As well as now hiding this marriage to a Jedi, which is not allowed, she has to hide the fact that she's going to have babies. All of the costumes had to disguise these facts.

Anakin is vulnerable on a slope.

"I'm going to be with child."-Padme

"The children are born."

At the end of the movie, the twins Luke and Leia are less than a month old.

We will see Padmé pregnant in the film.

We will see who was born first, Luke or Leia.

Anakin knows Padme is pregnant and expecting.

In one scene, Padmé, Obi-Wan and C-3PO will be "the scene that explains it all" on a vista with moderate winds.

One scene will be in "Padmé's Apartment" and we will see Padmé, Anakin and C-3PO.

Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Padmé are in a scene described as "major" and "grim".

Though Padmé's screen time is less than that of Obi-Wan and Anakin, she will still have an important role and a fair amount of screen time.

There are important scenes between Anakin & Padme that play out between them that inform us about the nature of their marriage. Remember, it is secret, so the moments they have together will be snatched when they can be, against a background of a busy galaxy at war.

Anakin & Padme's relationship and the maturity thereof does indeed play a role in the birth of the children as well as Anakin's downfall.

Obi-Wan and Padme are close friends in Ep3.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is in Ep3 a lot.

Anakin & Padme's relationship and the maturity there of does indeed play a role in the birth of the children as well as Anakin's downfall.

You will probably feel sorry for Anakin before he makes his bad choices and turns to the darkside and also at the end of Ep3. But I'm a big advocate of [taking] personal responsibility, even in the face of temptation."

Anakin is among the main characters with stunt work demanding enough to require digital doubling and mock heads of the character, created in exact detail.

For the scenes of Anakin and Palpatine in the Chancellor's office, George brought down the warmer values that were on stage, making everything a bit cooler, a bit more blue.

Episode III has got everything the other films had and more! The movie is 60 to 70 per cent fighting. There's tons of fighting in this one."

Anakin's grisly demise at the end of the duel is set to be one of the most chilling moments in the entire saga.

"Ewan McGregor can just do anything. I've known Ewan for years and whatever you give him to do, he can do it. I would have thought that no one could have become better than Ewan--after Phantom and Attack of the Clones, he just looked like the best. But Hayden learned fast and is now leagues ahead of everybody. He is terrifying!" -NG

"The duel will explain how Obi-Wan is able to defeat his protege, even though Anakin has been established as the most powerful Jedi who ever lived. Obi-Wan taught Anakin and Anakin has gone past him. But when you get to that duel, it's emotional. That's where the mistake will be made. And if you know the characters, you know Obi-Wan isn't going to get emotional and he doesn't make mistakes."

The title for Ep 2 didn't come out until August 6 of 2001. Perhaps August of 2004 the Ep3 title will be announced.

George is aggressively aiming for the two-hour mark for the film's length.

From Anakin and His Angel
Let's put it this way... Padme's ultimate fate is still unknown. Lucas covered both scenarios during filming and left some things open for change for the pickups next year if need be. And this was actually pretty easy. It doesn't really affect the rest of the story much at all, because either she dies... or everyone thinks she's dead (besides Bail & Co of course) and she lives out the rest of her life in tragic anonymity. It will all come down to Lucas' final decision on whether or not he wants her to die within the context of EP3 itself. And my contention is unless he intends of ammending that scene in ROTJ, she'll survive EP3. Either that or, like I said, one of the dumbest little plot holes ever is born. and concerning her Wardrobe, she wears a zillion different outfits again, but they are more in tone with her looks from AOTC than TPM, but not as elaborate at times. Also, keep in mind that she is visibly pregnant for almost the entire film.

From Anakin and His Angel
Everyone has been wondering about how and where we get to see the creation of Darth Vader. Today, I would like to shed some light on this highly awaited scene. Before that, though, a little recap for the uninitiated: By the end of the Obi-Wan/Anakin duel, Anakin has once again lost his right arm, possibly his left arm and also his right leg (his left arm is replaced by a cybernetic one too but more on that later - I just don't know whether this is cut off due to injuries or lost in battle). In any case, he is pretty badly charred; dark pieces of skin peeling off, his lips almost gone, his face scarred forever as well as a bald and singed cranium all add up to a pretty grim look all around. He is rescued by some stormtroopers and taken to a medical environment. So far, nothing new compared to other spoiler reports.
As reported by TheForce.Net LLC, there have been three separate looks designed for Anakin following the catastrophic duel and they have all been aptly described on the said site. These are for the separate stages of Anakin's recovery following the duel. When Anakin is pulled out of the lava, he is placed directly into a coffin of sorts (subtle symbolism there, guys!). He is unconscious when put inside this black box to be transferred to the nearest medical facilities.

This medical environment has a blue/white tinge to it and definitely has a "clinical" atmosphere. Anakin is taken out of the coffin (which floats in the air like Han's carbon frozen form in EMPIRE) and put into what I'm assuming is a bacta tank. As the Emperor watches intently, the Stormtroopers leave and the medical droids take over. While in the Bacta tank (again the same color from the first OT sequel, albeit a slightly darker shade), Vader/Anakin starts to recover a bit. His scars start to heal. This leads me to speculate that there may be a time lapse at the end of this flick which might cover as much as a month, but I can't really say for sure.

Anakin is taken out of the Bacta tank and is moved to another part of the medical facilities. The same blue/white hue continues here as this is just the other end of the other part of the medical facilities. The color of the actual walls, however, are the gray/dark-blue shade of the Imperial Star Destroyers and the Death Star of the OT. The clinical room is elliptical in nature with relatively low ceilings. The walls of the complex go up from the floor in a 45 degree angle at first and then they angle back inwards in the opposite direction at a slightly lower angle. The rest of the wall then extends vertically to the top. There are thick, round, industrial looking pipes attached directly onto the walls with eight or so thinner pipes (much thinner) in between the thicker ones. Very angular, very symmetrical. It looks as if the walls are lined with evenly spaced piping.

The gurney that Anakin/Vader is strapped to at this point (and given his new cybernetic implants/armor) comes directly up from and out of the floor. It is situated on a circular platform which is a couple of feet higher than the actual floor. Just to the side of this platform there are a couple of monitors and other such inexplicable gizmos. The gurney itself is a rectangular platform with either of its sides attached to two large, round axles. Its surface has a number of angled, ornamental lines on its surface. The gurney moves along the axles it is attached to. Smoke and vapor emanate from under and around this as well as from other machinery and cover certain areas of the facility.

Anakin is tended to by at least four droids during the last stage of his transformation into the Darth Vader we all know. Three of these droids look very, very similar to the FX-7 medical droid we saw on Hoth. In fact, one of them is almost a spitting image of the very same model, perhaps some earlier incarnation. Another one is slightly larger than the one we saw in ESB, with a more rounded head and a much smoother body, but it's not that different from the others. The usual assortment of arms and appendages are there, obviously, including the legs/arms that line the bottom half of the droid.

The main "surgeon droid," seemingly responsible for the operation, is a new droid to the Star Wars Universe. This droid is around 6 feet tall and has three legs. The joints of these legs are circular and hollow. The feet look like small, metallic hooves, akin to those of a sheep or a goat, but pointing inward. The Arthur C. Clarke fan in me hopes that this is a homage to Rendezvous with Rama (read it, kids; you'll like it) but I doubt it. This droid has a relatively small torso compared to its long legs. It appears to have many arms (4?). Its relatively small "biceps" end abruptly in one of those hollow joints, followed by an almost boomerang shaped arm that ends two-fingered claws. These arms are reminiscent of the front limbs of a Praying Mantis. This white/silver droid's other two(?) arms are much shorter and seem to come out of its chest. Its head is very similar to that of Rom The Spaceknight from the 1980's Marvel Comics series. It is basically a metallic head plate with a rectangular visor cut in where the eyes would be. There's a red glow that comes out from behind the rectangle. (It's probably good to note that the FX droids also have a thin, reddish band like this that's not rectangular but spans the whole length of their round heads.)

Now for the Pièce de résistance: the moment that we have all been waiting for, the "crowning" of Darth Vader, the Dark Lord of the Sith. By the time Anakin is ready to be awakened and put inside the armour, he has healed considerably though he is still scarred and relatively scary looking. He looks quite evil. He lies unconscious on the gurney, which has been raised on its axle to around 70-80 degrees or so. Over Anakin, there is a giant, circular light source which is attached to the ceiling. Three giant surgical arms are connected to this top part of the room. Anakin lies underneath; his arms are stretched open and it will remind the more symbolically minded amongst you of a crucifixion-style pose. He is shackled to the gurney at the lower forearms and lower leg areas. Both of Anakin's arms are clearly lost/amputated here although you can see the top parts of the arms jutting out. Two of the surgical arms attach new cybernetic arms to each side. Vader is almost complete now - all we need is the mask.

One of the surgical arms lowers the iconic Darth Vader mask from above. This arm has other little appendages coming out of its sides and the mask is gently disassembled and placed on Anakin's scarred head. The Emperor gives the order to "wake him up."

Organa's ship in episode iii. not only have familiar sets been reconstructed but we also get to see the bridge, the ship, being newer, is much cleaner looking and we get to see its landing gear when it makes planetfall.

We see a younger tarkin in the film (there is a photograph of the actor christopher ecclestone who has been made up to look identical to Peter Cushing - except younger obviously.

Palpatine and sideous are definately one and the same; one is not a clone.

Anakin kills Dooku early in the film as a chained Palpatine looks on and gives a running commentary just like in Return of the Jedi.

Anakin isn't named Darth Vader until after the lava pool plunge.

There is a funeral in the film. The last shots show Darth Vader on board a star destroyer.

Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader really isn't in the film for all that long of a time. In fact, he gets maybe five minutes at the maximum. Here's some details on what scenes you can expect him in:

1) He will be seen just for a couple minutes in the much talked about "waking-up" scene. This is after his recovery from the duel and he realizes what he has done and what has happened to him. He is shown here without the cape and upper helmet.

2) There's the "Sith christening" scene also known as the knighting as a Sith Lord. Another couple of minutes when he'll be seen during the film. He is also named here.

3) And finally, there's the "superstructure being built" minute where you can see the Death Star being constructed from his viewpoint with a few other notable Empire characters.

When Padme faces Anakin on Mustafar, Anakin is incredibly upset with her when he realizes she brought Obi-Wan with her. She led Obi-Wan right to him. From Anakin's point of view, he trusted her and she betrayed him. Anakin force-chokes Padme and throws her aside (where she also hits her head.) Then, the duel begins amidst the corpses of the slaughtered Seperatist leaders.

The twins are born on a brand new never-before seen world. They land there when they realize that Padme isn't going to make it if they keep pushing on to Alderaan. Padme finally succumbs to her wounds suffered from Anakin during the birthing scene. She is able to share a few choice words with Obi-Wan before passing.

When Vader rises (after been turned "cured" of his wounds), his first desire is knowledge of Padme's fate. Palpatine calmly and cooly tells him that she is dead and that he (Anakin/Vader) killed her. His sorrow and regret result in an awe-inspiring physical manifestation of the dark side of the force. The entire room buckles and twists away from his anguished screams. Every droid in the room is obliterated. Palpatine has to muster all of his powers just to shield himself from Vader's wrath. Vader's echoed scream segues directly into the next scene: Padme's funeral procession.

When Obi-Wan returns to Coruscant, he meets up with Yoda and must come to terms with what Anakin has been up to while he was away. The most telling of evidence is proof that Anakin led a raid on the temple with clonetroopers and eliminated the Younglings and any Jedi trying to protect them. Padme tracks down Anakin to Mustafar. When she finds him, he has already dispatched all the Seperatist leaders. She is still not full term yet in her pregnancy. Anakin only believes she is pregnant with one child. When the twins are born, it is not due to Padme going into labor, but out of necessity to rescue them from her before she passes. Mustafar is the "lava planet" and would best be described as the underbowels of Bespin meets lava processing facilities. Take the environment that Luke and Vader fought in on Bespin, and build it into the side of a volcanic mountain and you'll begin to get a rough idea of what the area will be like.

Padme is killed by Anakin. He uses the force 'strangle' on her and goes a little too far. He doesn't mean to kill her. Also, when Anakin wakes up as Darth Vader and is told what happened to him he becomes so angry he rips apart the room he's in with the Force. And lastly, when Mace Windu confronts Palpatine, Palpatine's electricity bolts deflect off Windu's saber and into Anakin's eyes. Anakin flips out again and lops off Mace's arm.

From The Force.Net
After the events of the absolutely epic opening space battle, the droid general has escaped, Palpatine has been rescued and Dooku is dead. Unfortunately, the Seperatist cruiser that Obi-Wan, Anakin and Palpatine is on, has now broken apart and tumbles into the atmosphere
of Coruscant. The "Coruscant Fire Department" sends up fire ships to help guide the ship in for as safe of a crash landing as they can manage. This certainly is a "Grevious" situation. Haha, I've been wanting to say that. Anyhow, this seems like a reasonable explanation to the Fire Ship idea, I've been wondering how that would fit in. It makes sense that a city planet would have a way to fight fires and rescue people from extreme situations. This could be the reason several "extreme wind" situations have been called for on set. -Anakin expects to be treated with more respect by the Jedi order now after having killed Dooku and rescuing Palpatine. When the droid general is tracked down, Obi-Wan is sent off on the mission to take him down, not Anakin. Palpatine, in response to his being kidnapped, uses this as a foil to upgrade his security and make Anakin his personal bodyguard. Another step for Anakin to be closer to Palpatine and in the future the Dark Side. He is getting prideful with slaying Dooku, and we see him now separated from Obi-Wan yet again. A receipe for disaster. And "upgrading the security" sure sounds like the Red Guards finally get much deserved recognition. Anakin does indeed have to make a "choice" in the film. That choice is given to him by Palpatine. In response, Mace Windu chooses to try and defend himself. This sounds like it fits with the Palpidious SPY REPORT earlier this week. Anakin is guarding Palpatine, per the spoiler above, and Mace comes for a visit. We see a flash of the ROJ Palpatine, then he unloads on Mace. Anakin and Mace duel, with Mace going down hard - sealing Anakin's embrace of the Dark Side.

Reported that an elevator set has been built and they were filming
Hayden in it on day one. Full frontal view on a grey vertical set with two
large green screens on both side. A door and an abyss. The door opens
and shuts, Hayden is hanging down the vertical wall holding onto something.
An amazing camera crane is operating the camera mostly on the niveau of
the door. Also, a wind machine is positioned infront of the set, so I guess this
wind machine is there by purpose.

Anakin Skywalker (Christensen) won't just slip into the dark side
of the Force in ''Episode III''he'll also plunge headfirst into the
1970s. A shot of Anakin on StarWars.com's on-set webcam reveals an
all-black wardrobe and a distinctly Me Decade hairdo of blond,
shoulder-length tresses. The style is apparently meant to bridge the
visual gap between the new movie and the first ''Star Wars''(a.k.a. ''
Episode IV''), which was filmed in 1977. And even before he dons Darth's
helmet, Anakin will lose some of his heartthrob looks, thanks to the
rigors of fighting in the Clone Wars (which occur off-camera between
Episodes ''II'' and ''III''). ''He looks quite rugged and weathered...
like he's been around the track a bit,'' hairdresser Annette Miles told
StarWars.com's on-set chronicler. Meanwhile, producer Rick McCallum
batted down rumors that Christensen will spend only five minutes as
Darth Vader in the new film:''You should know not to believe every rumor
your hear. I don't think you'll be disappointed,''he told fans in an online
chat. CHEW ON THIS The lovable yet ill-tempered Wookiee known as Chewbacca
will not only return in ''Episode III'' (after his absence from the first
two prequels) -- he'll have an important role. Peter Mayhew, the dude in
the furry suit, told a British journalist that the opening scene of the
movie is a Wookiee battle sequence that takes place on a never-before-seen
planet. More startlingly, Mayhew also said that Chewbacca acts as midwife
to Natalie Portman's Padmé when she gives birth to twins Luke and Leia.
We hope he washes his paws first.

--The film ends on a sad note, though because we know the Classic films,it isn't all that bad.--
--Obi-Wan is fighting droids in the underwater tank they've been filming on recently.
There is just a fight, no full scale battle. --
--Rick has only gained 15 pounds during production so far, but says the stress is turning him into
looking like the Emperor instead of Jabba.--
--Jar Jar does NOT die in Episode III.--
--The bad guy in Episode III will carry two lightsabers. On an unrelated note, there is a scene where we
see Darth Vader getting his name and what it means.--
--Palpatine is going to show us the power of the Dark Side.--
--The script is 129 pages, they've shot about 80 of them up to this point.--

Anakin will be losing more body parts.
The film format will be a lot like AOTC:
action at the beginning, slow, but character
developing middle, and huge, climatic last hour.
