I know I’m late with my comment but my computer was being repaired for the last couple weeks! PLEASE DON’T close the site! It’s the “go to” site of SO many Hayden Christensen fans. Is there anything I can do? I don’t really know how to run a site but maybe I could learn? I mean I KNOW if you’re tired of doing it, it becomes more of a chore than a joy and I’d hate to see that but maybe others could help you with the site somehow, including me????

I would appreciate any photo updates, and hanging onto the press would be great, too. Although the rest of the site has always been great, most of it isn’t really necessary. I just want to keep up with whatever Hayden is up to. We’ve always known he’s a private person, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him go towards other pursuits, but it’s nice to know there’s a place to go to where we can sort of touch base with him once in a while. I, for one, would appreciate any time you are able to devote to it. It doesn’t need to be a massive collection of all things Hayden. Just the photos and latest news would be just fine with me. While I do understand wanting to move on from this site (it’s the most commendable one out there though!), I know many people are incredibly attached to it. I’m surprised no one has suggested the idea of letting a dedicated fan take over the project. Perhaps you could “pass the torch” to someone who has the time, enthusiasm and dedication to maintain the features and news that have made this site so spectacular. Keep all the info and galleries, and let another webmaster/mistress keep it going forward. I think this would be a wonderful solution that could keep everyone happy. :-)

I think my world will be underwater if DH.net closes, or loses you forever!
Maybe take a break and let a few other people run the site for a few months/year?
Just think of what this site has become, what you have achieved. Your commitement to this site has lead you to meet Hayden himself!

You’re not obligated to the Hayden fandom to keep this site open if you no longer have the interest in doing it. I think people should just appreciate the time and effort you have put in all these years and support whatever decision you make. You have to do what makes you happy in this case. In the end the decision is yours alone and if you would choose to close then I’m sure most of your visitors would find a way to move on, and if you choose to continue then people will still visit the site, but either way it is up to you alone.

I have never posted here, and unfortunately I never got any chances to register the forum as well, but I really want to thank you for all of your efforts you had put on the best Hayden fansite for such a long time, especially the photo gallery, video archives and multimedia sections are invaluable.

However, I can understand that maintaing a fansite for long time is hard, and you still have to put your real life in priority.
If you have to close DH at the end, personally I would like to see the photo gallery and multimedia still online. Still, no matter what your final decision to is, you will always have my support. I wish you all the best.

No offense but why are you so sure that Hayden is “very busy working on other films”? If he really is there should be at least some on set pictures.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with Stacy. There is anything going on in Hayden’s career right now. Nowadays the rumors about Hayden’s new project have turned out to be nothing other than rumors. Basically the only things we can talk about Hayden right now are his random candids.

That said, no matter What Jen’s decision to close the site or not, I will still support her and appreciate all of the efforts she had put on this site.

Even though Hayden isn’t seen out and about all the time doesn’t mean he’s given up acting. He’s been very busy working on other films and his time off is precious to him. He’s not a big fan of “being in the limelight,” so I don’t blame him for staying hidden from the public’s eye. You’d probably do the same if the paparazzi followed you around every time you went out.

I surmise that you aren’t such a fan of Hayden’s anymore or you wouldn’t be so eager for Jen to close desiring.hayden. True Hayden fans will never get tired of hearing any news about him; whether it’s recent or not.

I would hate to see the site close. I think if you want to go on a little hiatus, leaving the video, image gallery, etc open then you can do that. But I would really miss it if you closed permanently. I’ve grown up with this site, girly! There has been some news on a new film “Battlecreek” which you could post some info on if you’re looking for news to post. Also, maybe you can start doing weekly challenges (fanart, fanfiction etc) or like trivia challenges. You have a considerable amount of visitors here and involving them in the site more might be help. Ultimately it’s your decision. But I would be very sad. :(

You’ve done an outstanding job with this site…but, the sad truth is Hayden doesn’t have much of a career anymore whether that’s by choice or poor film choices since the end of the Star Wars movies. I have never posted here before, but I want to thank you for having this site for the many years that you have. I think the photo, videio, and media sections should definitely stay open, if you could that would be great. There are a few Hayden fansites that are not updated that often, but are still open without much activity. Just because you don’t update often does not mean your site is not appreciated. If the cost of upkeep is not worth keeping the main site open, that would play a part in your decision, also. Maybe someone would like to adopt your site from you, instead of closing it. Leaving the photo/video/media secions up like you did this past spring when you closed for a couple of months would be great, if you do find you need to close the main site. Thank you for your work here, and I hope you come to a decision that is best for you. I hope Hayden does a movie soon, too!
